Title: Parade
Description: Peter Verek is not a famous man. Historically, he'll never be known as a patriot, a dreamer or a man of religion, but the qualities embodied in each were very much a part of his character. No biographer will ever immortalize him, yet the unassuming life of Peter Verek is rich with nobility and quiet dignity. There is a difference between greatness and fame. Thirty years ago, Peter came to America with a dream. He dreamed of a small white house - his symbol of happiness and security. Before long he married a pretty girl who helped him plan for the day when the house would become a reality. It wasn't easy to provide a living for his wife and children and still put aside money from his small wages. During an era that was dark with the shadows of two wars and a depression, Peter, like many another good American, worked hard to achieve his modest aim - a decent home for himself and his loved ones.
