Show starts with an introduction of Foy Willing and The Riders Of The Purple Sage and the guest star if there is one. After one, two or three songs, there is a story which features the guest star if there is one. The first lines listed below are from the stories. After the story, the Riders of the Purple Sage and sometimes the guest star sing another one or two songs. The titles of the stories are mentioned in some but not all of the shows. At various times, the members of the Riders of the Purple Sage included Scotty Harrell (Foy Woodrow Harrel), Foy Willing (Foy Willingham), Al Sloey, Johnny Paul (John Paul Girardi), Burton 'Bud' Sievert, Darol Rice, George Bamby, Al Duncan and Jimmie Dean.
