A Man Named Jordan

Show Information taken from John Dunning's book "On The Air"

Adventure serial, forerunner of the series ROCKY JORDAN (1945-1947).

Rocky Jordan, in his serial days, was a hero in the I Love a Mystery mold: rough-cut, formidable, with a code of ethics rooted in practicalities rather than sentiment. He was strongly motivated by profit potential, and his search for fortune was often wrapped up in dangerous enterprise. His sidekicks at the Tambourine were a native "man Friday" named Ali, a girlfriend named Toni Sherwood, and his pal Duke O'Brien.

CAST:

Jack Moyles as Rocky Jordan, proprietor of the Cafe Tambourine, a small restaurant "in a narrow street off Istanbul's Grand Bazaar," permeated by the smoke of Oriental tobacco, alive with the babble of many tongues, and packed with intrigue.

Also: Paul Frees, Dorothy Lovett, and Jay Novello.

WRITER-DIRECTOR: Ray Buffum.
