TAXI

Seen by many SA Radio listeners, Taxi was the most popular comedy series
 that ever aired on radio in South Africa. It was indeed so popular that 
a full length feature film was made in 1972, starring the same actors as
 used in the radio series. Taxi was originally aired between 1969 and 1973
 on Sunday evenings. The series made a comeback in 1976 and was heard on
 Monday evenings until 1978 when the series was axed from the Springbok
 Radio line up. All the episodes in circulation date from the 1969 and 
1970 era's. A further 300 plus episodes are being restored and preserved 
in South Africa.
